ITINERARY

Day 1
Brisbane
Distance : 0 Kms Time : 0 Hours

Morning: Collect your motorhome from the Cruisin’ depot in Brisbane and start your adventure exploring the vibrant city. Take a kayaking tour down the Brisbane River for a refreshing and active morning.

Afternoon: Spend the afternoon cooling off at the city’s iconic Streets Beach or strolling through local shops and cafés along South Bank.

Evening: As the sun sets, head to West End or Fortitude Valley to experience Brisbane’s thriving nightlife. Discover emerging local bands, stylish cocktail bars, and buzzing clubs that showcase the city’s creative and energetic spirit.

Day 2
BRISBANE TO THE GOLD COAST
Distance : 80km Time : 1 Hour

Make the short drive to the glitz and glamour of the Gold Coast where you have endless access to golden beaches, action-packed theme parks and atmospheric bars and clubs. Immerse yourself in the hype of Surfers Paradise, Australia’s nightlife capital with its collection of lounge bars and clubs or venture to laidback Broadbeach for a cocktail or two.

Day 3
THE GOLD COAST TO BYRON BAY
Distance : 95km Time : 1 Hour 15 Minutes

Inhale the relaxed vibe of one of the coast’s most popular holiday destinations. Hit the beach and take a group surf lesson or spend the day snorkelling, diving, kayaking or fishing around the coastline. In the afternoon become part of the town’s lively night-scene and visit a few of the bay’s best waterfront bars, clubs and pubs.

Day 4
BYRON BAY

Head toward the iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse for spectacular views and walks. Look out for dolphins and migrating whales passing below. Face your fears and experience the ultimate adrenaline hit by skydiving over the unforgettable coastline or take the less daunting option and witness a birds’ eye view from a hot air balloon.

Day 5
BYRON BAY TO COFFS HARBOUR
Distance : 240km Time : 3 Hours

Make your way to Sealy Lookout and enjoy mesmerising views of the city and beaches from the Forest Sky Pier. Wander around the city centre and head to the Jetty and Harbourside district and enjoy lunch at one of the many cafes and restaurants on offer. Spend the remainder of the day at one of the city’s many beaches before heading to the waterfront to enjoy charming views and a beverage or two.

Day 6
COFFS HARBOUR TO PORT MACQUARIE
Distance : 160km Time : 2 Hours

For a boutique brewery experience, stop by Black Duck Brewery where you can experience firsthand the beer-making process and sample a few at the bar afterwards. Enjoy a hit of golf at one of the public golf courses or visit High Adventure Playground, Australia’s most popular paragliding school. Visit the beach for a laidback afternoon before stopping by one of the main bars at sunset and enjoying the live music and lively coastal atmosphere.

Day 7
PORT MACQUARIE TO NEWCASTLE
Distance : 245km Time : 2 Hours 45 Minutes

Wander through the city centre and admire the historic architecture and quirky arts culture. Visit one of the eight surrounding beaches for a day of surfing, swimming or fishing before sipping a cocktail or two at one of the many harbourside restaurants or live music jaunts in happening Darby Street.

Day 8
NEWCASTLE TO SYDNEY
Distance : 160km Time : 2 Hours

Enjoy breakfast at the harbourside before navigating toward world-famous Sydney. Become part of the hype and wander down Pitt Street toward the harbour. Take a boat trip to Manly and absorb the famous surf culture before having a coffee at one of the hip cafes. Head back to the CBD and spend the afternoon dining at one of the many restaurants at the Rocks and drinking at the endless supply of cutting-edge bars and pubs. Return to the comfort of your motorhome after a strong dose of Sydney’s nightlife.

Day 9
SYDNEY

Take a bus to Bondi Beach and spend the day surfing those famous waves. Grab a bite to eat at one of the surrounding cafes and spend the afternoon wandering around the scenic coastal track or enjoying a beer or two at the popular surrounding pubs. Later on head back towards one of the lively establishments at Circular Quay and appreciate the night view of the famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Day 10
SYDNEY TO BATHURST
Distance : 200km Time : 3 Hours

Enjoy a late breakfast in Sydney before venturing towards Bathurst in time for the big event. Relax in the small country town and visit a few of the local jaunts for a drink or two amongst a vibrant and bustling crowd. Stay at BIG4 Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park in a convenient location.

Day 11 - 12
BATHURST

Make your way to Mount Panorama Circuit for the big event! Settle in for a great day of car racing and heightened atmosphere before making your way to the nearby pubs and clubs to celebrate all night long.
Gear up for day two of this world-famous car race. Check out the exhibitions onsite and experience the peak of your Bathurst holiday by celebrating dusk to dawn.

Day 13
BATHURST TO TAMWORTH
Distance : 400km Time : 4 Hours 45 Minutes

Enjoy a well-deserved sleep in before the drive to country Tamworth. Get to know the home of Australia’s largest country music festival and visit the award-winning Walk a Country Mile interpretive exhibit at the Tamworth Information Centre. Visit Oxley Lookout for spectacular views of the Liverpool Ranges and experience a low key night at one of the town’s laidback establishments specialising in live country music entertainment.

Day 14
TAMWORTH TO BRISBANE
Distance : 580km Time : 7 Hours

Make your way back to the subtropical capital for an afternoon of relaxing. Take a cruise down the Brisbane River or sit drinking coffee at one of the city’s many cafes. Enjoy an early night in the comfort of your motorhome or campervan at one of Brisbane’s central caravan parks.
