ITINERARY

Day 1
Discover Perth’s Icons
Distance : 38.4 Kms Time : 1 Hour (if driving)

Morning: Once you’ve picked up your motorhome, drive to your caravan park (9 minutes) to leave it there. Take the public transport (32 minutes) and start your Perth adventure with a walk around Elizabeth Quay and admire the Boorloo Bridge, a new landmark celebrating local Noongar culture. Then hop on public transport again (30 minutes) and stroll along to the Blue Boat House, one of Perth’s most photographed spots.

Afternoon:  Head to Kings Park and Botanic Garden, one of the world’s largest inner-city parks. Enjoy a picnic with panoramic views over the Swan River and Perth skyline, and walk the Lotterywest Federation Walkway to learn about native flora and Aboriginal connections to the land.

Evening: Walk across the river to South Perth Foreshore for sunset. It’s the best spot to watch the city lights reflect on the water. Dine at a riverside restaurant or cook dinner back in your motorhome kitchen.

Day 2
Perth Local Flavours & Creativity
Distance : 23.7 Kms Time : 45 Minutes (if driving)

Morning: Hop on the public transport (35 minutes) for a second day in Perth City! Explore the WA Museum Boola Bardip, which celebrates Western Australia’s stories and Indigenous culture. Take time to visit the nearby Art Gallery of WA, home to inspiring Indigenous and contemporary works.

Afternoon:  Head to the Perth Mint (only 20 minutes walk from the museum) for a guided heritage tour and see how gold is poured. In the late afternoon, experience a thrill with the Matagarup Bridge Zip + Climb for breathtaking views over Optus Stadium and the Swan River (35-minute walk from Perth Mint).

Evening: Grab dinner at one of the lively restaurants where you are or enjoy a relaxing night back in your motorhome.

Day 3
Perth to Fremantle
Distance : 49.1 Kms Time : 1 Hour 15 Minutes

Morning: Start your day with a freshly cooked breakfast in your motorhome, then head to Fremantle. Arrive at the Fremantle Markets, browsing fresh produce, handmade crafts, and local art. You can park the motorhome at Fremantle Prison Car Park 29 (open-air car park).

Afternoon: From the markets, walk to the Japingka Aboriginal Art Gallery to see stunning Indigenous works, or take a guided walking tour to learn about Fremantle’s colonial and cultural history. Then drive to Cottesloe Beach for a swim or a beachside drink.

Evening: Enjoy fish and chips by the harbour, then head to your caravan park to relax for the night. You can even organise a movie night with popcorn in your motorhome!

Day 3

Day 4
Fremantle
Distance : 13.4 Kms Time : 30 Minutes

Morning: Have a slow morning! Enjoy cooking breakfast in your motorhome, eat in the sun. Join a gin-making class or craft beer workshop in Fremantle — great for couples or groups of friends. Families might prefer visiting the WA Maritime Museum or the Fremantle Round House, WA’s oldest public building.

Afternoon: Explore South Beach, where locals gather for a relaxed afternoon by the water. If you’re up for more culture, browse the small art galleries and boutique shops in Fremantle’s West End.

Evening: Watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean at Bathers Beach, then enjoy dinner at one of Fremantle’s buzzing waterfront eateries.

Day 4

Day 5
Rottnest Island
Distance : 31.9 Kms Time : 48 Minutes

Morning: Leave your motorhome parked at the Rottnest Island Ferry Terminal (North Fremantle) and catch an early ferry to Rottnest Island. Once there, hire a bike to explore the island’s pristine beaches and meet the famous quokkas.

Afternoon: Relax at The Basin or Pinky Beach, and grab lunch at the Rottnest Bakery or Hotel Rottnest. Learn about the island’s deep Noongar history and its significance to local Indigenous people through guided tours or interpretive displays. Return to the mainland and drive back to our Perth branch to drop your motorhome off by 3:30 pm.  

Tip: There will be an island admission fee.
