No, Cruisin’ does not provide iron or ironing boards. However, most campgrounds do have laundry facilities.
We do not provide hairdryers.
Vehicles cannot be requested by make or model, only by vehicle category (i.e. Sandpiper, Adventurer, Deluxe, etc).
If your booked motorhome becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, Cruisin’ may provide a complimentary upgrade at no extra cost. We will always aim to supply a vehicle that is as close as possible to your original booking.
No refunds will be given if you are unhappy with the complimentary upgrade or change.
In the rare case we cannot supply any alternative vehicle, you will receive a full refund.
The minimum hire period is typically 5 days.
During peak seasons such as Christmas, Easter, or major state events, the minimum hire period may increase to 7–10 days.
For one-way rentals (e.g., Perth to Melbourne), a minimum hire of 21 days applies.
We recommend checking our Terms and Conditions for exact dates and seasonal requirements.
All Cruisin’ rentals come with unlimited kilometres. You won’t pay extra based on how far you travel, as long as you drive on sealed/bitumen roads.
For safety and comfort, we recommend planning reasonable daily distances (around 300–400 km or 4–5 hours of driving), with regular rest breaks along the way. This helps reduce fatigue and lets you enjoy the sights at a relaxed pace.
Our vehicles can only be driven on sealed/bitumen roads. You may, however, drive on well-maintained access roads of less than twelve (12) kilometres to recognised campgrounds.
Cruisin’ also reserves the right to restrict vehicle movements in areas with poor road or weather conditions, and we can advise you if your driving distance is longer than the length of your rental period.
Yes! For a fee of $165, Cruisin’ offers one-way rentals if you wish to pick up from one branch location and drop off at a different branch. We have branches in Hobart, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, and Perth.
Please note: If you wish to change your return location after the rental has commenced, you will need permission from our reservations team. Additional charges may apply – so please consider your drop-off location carefully. Need more information? Call us at 1300 664 485.
Each rental allows a maximum of three (3) drivers. These drivers are included in your rental at no extra cost. Additional drivers beyond three are not permitted.
Yes. We charge 10% GST, which is included in your booking rates.
If you receive any speeding fines, tolls, parking fines, or other traffic offences you will be charged up to $55 in admin fees per offence.
Check out our Liability Reduction, Fines & Damages section for more information.
Yes. A $300 deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit confirms your reservation and will be applied towards the total cost of your hire.
We require a $300 deposit (plus credit card fee) to reserve your vehicle. You can pay the remaining balance when you pick up your motorhome.
Cruisin’ Motorhomes accepts the following payment methods: Visa (Credit & Debit), Mastercard (Credit & Debit), EFTPOS. We do not accept cash at our branches.
A credit surcharge fee applies to all card transactions.
For full details, see our Payments Information page.
- Direct deposit is accepted, but it must be arranged in advance so funds clear before your rental begins.
- Domestic payments: arrange at least 7 days before pick-up.
- International payments: arrange at least 14 days before pick-up.
- Cheques and bank transfers are not accepted at pick-up.
If you select our Standard Liability option, you’ll be required to pay a security bond of up to $5,000 at the time of pick-up.
The bond must be paid using a physical credit card (not ApplePay, prepaid cards, or direct deposit). The card must be in the driver’s name, and the cardholder must be present at pick-up to sign for the bond.
Split payments are not accepted — the full bond must be processed on a single card.
